Actions:
Stay planted in several spots identified as where people would pose for a picture of the bridge. Read texts from teleprompter in these spots for 30 minute intervals. Pace back and forth with variable combinations of cart, mics, fanny pack. Undo and Redo contraptions, sort through Photo detritus. Anticipate it falling apart. Roam and interact with picture-takers offering photography advice. Use eye-contact. Ask crowd for a “translator” into any of the languages of tourists one can hear at that given time.
Give statements about performance to intentional & accidental audience.
Statement:
After 2 months of logging and narrating the language circulating one of the most photographed man made structures in the world, The Photographer Without a Camera is reading to, from and about picture making at this famous bridge.
