This guy was really cute when I saw him online. You can tease people with
already created one-liners like, intrigued, feel free to email me. He
said, let's meet for a couple drinks and go to a fashion week party. Well,
I couldn't, but we met another night. We met on a street corner. Twenty-first
and sixth. He was late. I was looking at the books in the window of a
Barnes and Noble and a black guy who worked there came outside and said,
girl you're too pretty to be waiting this long for anybody. Thanks; I'll
think about that. Then David showed up. He took me to Justin's, which
is Puff Daddy's restaurant. We didn't eat actually. We had a bottle of
wine. Then we went to Suede and we were dancing a little bit, hanging
out. There were a bunch of cherries you know, the bartender's and I said,
I love those cherries. He picks one up and feeds it to me. As I was chewing
it, he kisses me. We continued to dance, flirt, and make fun of people.
Around two we were pretty much done with the place. I was sleeping at
my brother's and I didn't want to be rude and come home too late. He walked
me to the subway and we kissed and he invited me to Crobar on Saturday
night. About an hour later, he sent me a text message that said, sweet
dreams. You know how people get pit sweat, he did, but it didn't bother
me. He was wearing a white collared button up. He's dark, Moroccan background,
not the best listener. He knew he was cute and thought of ways that could
be reinforced. He was obsessed with being clean. Longer brown hair, nice
features. 6 foot, great biceps; I felt them. He served in the Israeli
army, so he was strong. Oh, he told me that he likes living alone because
of things like if his roommate has a guest and they take a shower they
always leave a hair in the soap. One of them, the first one I ever went
on, I went to see this documentary Paperclips. It's about students who
collected 6 million paperclips to see what it means, the quantity. These
two Germans got an old train car that went to Auschwitz to put the paperclips
in. He's computer savvy and he found out it was playing in Teaneck, where
he lives. And my friend came along because I promised her I would see
it with her and he said, no problem, the more, the merrier. He paid for
both of us, no questions asked. We watched the movie and then went to
a bar. He sells security cameras and different software to the government.
It's his own company and he goes away every weekend. He wants to invest
in real estate in Florida. He's in Israel this weekend. We still talk
all the time. He looks stuff up for me on the computer. A good friend.
Too short though. This other date, we met at the Short Hills mall for
lunch. Worst posture. The first thing he brings up to talk about, ugh,
he was such a downer. This person died and this person was molested when
they were younger. He did a number of unattractive things. He works in
Morristown; he does basically, like, investment banking. It felt rushed
because it was his lunch break. But if you're not into the person you
can get out.
